I got this recipe from a dear penpal, Paula McNeil. We served it with steaks and potatoes. Ingredients:
1 bunch bok choy |
6 green onions, chopped |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
1/4 cup butter |
2 (3 ounce) packages oriental-flavor instant ramen noodles |
1 teaspoon soy sauce |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1/2 cup white vinegar |
Directions:
1. Place chopped bok choy (napa) and onions in fridge to cool. Melt butter in skillet, add almonds and noodles (broken into small pieces). Saute until golden. Add dry flavor packets from noodles, mix with almonds and noodles. Let cool. Mix with napa and onions just prior to serving. 2. Dressing: Combine remaining ingredients in cruet and shake to combine. Dress salad. Refrigerate. |
