This is always popular at summer get-togethers. Cool and crunchy, there are seldom any leftovers. I first had this when my friend Robbin brought it to a pig roast. Cooking time is sitting time. Ingredients:
2 beef-flavor ramen noodles (packages) |
12 ounces broccoli slaw mix (1 bag) |
13 ounces slivered almonds |
1 cup sunflower seeds |
1/2 cup sugar |
3/4 cup canola oil |
1/3 cup vinegar |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl mix together the noodles from the ramen packages, the slaw mix, almonds and sunflower seeds. 2. In a smaller bowl mix the 2 seasoning packets from the ramen packages with the sugar, canola oil and vinegar. 3. Pour dressing mix over the slaw/noodle mix. 4. Let sit for a few hours. 5. It will stay crunchy if you make it the night before. |
