Chinese Curried Shrimp and Peas |

I really don't remember where I got this recipe from but I got it about 20 years ago and made it when I was a newlywed for my husband's sister and family. They loved it and it was my first attempt at preparing anything for guests from a recipe. So, it's a simple recipe which is ideal for beginners. Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
2/3 cup milk |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
9 ounces large shrimp |
1 (8 ounce) can peas, drained |
salt |
Directions:
1. Shell and devein shrimp. 2. In saucepan, mix soup, milk, curry powder. 3. Add salt if needed. 4. Heat until it's boiling. 5. Stir in peas and shrimp. 6. Take off the heat once the shrimp is cooked and turns pink in colour. |
