This is a wonderful salad. It's got a great taste and a great crunch with crispy cabbage, nuts and uncooked noodles.
Ingredients:
salad
1 lb coleslaw mix
2 bunches green onions, chopped
2 1/2 oz pkg slivered almonds
1 c salted sunflower seeds
2 pkgs chicken ramen noodles
dressing
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/3 c sugar
1/2 c vinegar
2 flavor packets from ramen noodles
Directions:
1. Place almonds and sunflower seeds in single layer in shallow ungreased baking pan.
2. Toast in oven for 10-15 minutes at 350 deg F
3. Crunch up Ramen noodles (save flavor packets for dressing)
4. Mix all the salad ingredients together.
5. Combine the dressing ingredients; mix well
6. Just before serving, toss salad with dressing.
