This is a wonderful salad. It's got a great taste and a great crunch with crispy cabbage, nuts and uncooked noodles. Ingredients:
salad |
1 lb coleslaw mix |
2 bunches green onions, chopped |
2 1/2 oz pkg slivered almonds |
1 c salted sunflower seeds |
2 pkgs chicken ramen noodles |
dressing |
1/2 c vegetable oil |
1/3 c sugar |
1/2 c vinegar |
2 flavor packets from ramen noodles |
Directions:
1. Place almonds and sunflower seeds in single layer in shallow ungreased baking pan. 2. Toast in oven for 10-15 minutes at 350 deg F 3. Crunch up Ramen noodles (save flavor packets for dressing) 4. Mix all the salad ingredients together. 5. Combine the dressing ingredients; mix well 6. Just before serving, toss salad with dressing. |
