Chinese Chicken Salad - Side Item |

This recipe is from a woman I once worked with, it is delicious! This is the dish I am required to bring to every family gathering as a delicious side item! Ingredients:
3 -4 chicken breasts, cooked and cut into pieces |
1 bunch green onion, sliced thin |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted brown |
4 tablespoons sugar |
4 tablespoons cider vinegar |
3 teaspoons accent seasoning (or msg) |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
2 teaspoons salt (i use 1 tsp) |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 cup oil |
Directions:
1. MIX WELL. ADD MEAT, ONION, ALMONDS AND SEEDS. (Best if stored overnight but good freshly made also.). 2. PRIOR TO SERVING MIX WITH:. 3. 1 to 1 and 1/2 HEADS OF LETTUCE. 4. CHINESE NOODLES - I just set the can of chineese noodles beside the salad so people can help themselves if they wish. |
