Chinese Chicken Chow Bake |

This is a dish my mother made regularly for us when we were growing up in the 60's and was the one I always requested for my birthday meal. Prep time includes pre-cooking the chicken. Ingredients:
2 cups diced cooked chicken |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 (9 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, well drained |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1 cup celery, slices |
2 tablespoons chopped green onions |
2 1/2 cups chow mein noodles |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except noodles, mixing well. 2. Gently fold in 1 cup of noodles. 3. Spoon into 8x8x2 inch baking dish. 4. Sprinkle with remaining noodles. 5. Bake in 350 oven for 50 minutes or until hot. |
