This is from a March 1989 issue of Bon Appetit and was a recipe featured in a Let's Do Dim Sum menu. Ingredients:
8 tablespoons soy sauce |
1/4 cup hoisin sauce |
1/4 cup dry sherry |
1/4 cup honey |
1/4 cup catsup |
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic |
1 teaspoon peeled minced fresh ginger |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
4 lbs pork baby back ribs |
Directions:
1. Whisk first 8 ingredients together in medium bowl to blend. 2. Place ribs in baking pan; pour marinade over, turning to coat ribs. 3. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. 4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 5. Remove ribs from marinade and place in a single layer on shallow baking pan. 6. Bake 30 minutes; turn ribs over and baste with marinade. 7. Continue baking until tender, basting once more, about 35 minutes. 8. Cut into single rib portions and serve hot. |
