This recipe was adopted and needs some working over....so if you want to try it before I fix it, please do and let me know how it turns out. Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 egg yolk |
4 teaspoons water |
1/4 cup shortening |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon shortening |
1 teaspoon almond extract |
13 almonds |
Directions:
1. Cream together yolk adn sugar. 2. Add rest ingredients. 3. Spoon tbsp onto baking sheet and place almonds ontop of each cookie. 4. Bae at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minute Let cool completely. |
