Chilopites Greek Pasta With Chicken |

If you can't find chilopites pasta try it with fettuccine or linguine (preferably if you find them in small pieces it's better). Ingredients:
1 medium size chicken |
500 gr. chilopites pasta * see note |
1 glass of olive oil |
1 can whole peeled tomatoes with juice |
salt and pepper |
water (originally 1 glass and 2 after roasting chicken) |
Directions:
1. We wash, salt and pepper the chicken; 2. We blend the tomatoes in the Multi blender place the chicken in an oven pan with breast facing down and add the oil, water and tomatoes. 3. Preheat oven at 180o and place chicken to roast . We turn the chicken over and after it is roasted on both sides we remove chicken in a platter. We add the other 2 glasses of water and wait until warm. 4. We add the pasta and stir frequently for about 20 minutes. If the pasta has absorbed liquid and is still ad dente you add some more water. 5. When serving we can grate some cheese preferably Greek dried Myzithra (like parmezan) or any other hard cheese. |
