Really easy, make the marinade, set aside, and put in oven. tender honey chilli ribs, better than any takeaway! use as starter or main course! Ingredients:
1kg/ 2lb lean pork ribs |
for the marinade |
2.5cm/ 1'' fresh root ginger grated |
2 garlic gloves crushed |
4 tblsp clear honey |
4 tblsp white wine vinegar |
2 tblsp light soy sauce |
2 tblsp dry sherry |
1 x 142g /5oz can tomato puree |
1 tsp chilli powder |
1 or 2 dried red chillis ( depending on taste) cut up small inc seeds |

Directions:
1. combine all marinade ingredients and mix well 2. cut spareribs into bitsize peices 3. place ribs in roasting dish 4. cover with marinade 5. if time allows, set aside for 1 hour 6. cook at 160 degrees for 45 - 60 mins basting every 15 mins and turning half way through. 7. Turn off oven and rest 15 mins 8. enjoy. 9. serve with lemon finger dip and napkins |
