I found this recipe in a magazine. i haven't tried it yet. Ingredients:
500 g ground beef |
1 onion, finely chopped |
2 teaspoons minced garlic |
1 teaspoon dried herbs |
2 tablespoons thai sweet chili sauce |
olive oil flavored cooking spray |
8 crusty bread rolls |
lettuce leaf, torn |
2 tomatoes, sliced |
1 carrot, peeled and thinly sliced lengthways |
canned beetroot, sliced |
Directions:
1. Combine beef, onion, garlic, herbs, and sauce. Shape into 8 patties and refrigerate, covered, for 15-30 minutes. 2. Spray a non-stick frying pan with oil and cook patties over medium heat for 8 minutes. Turn and cook for 5 minutes more. 3. Serve with bread rolls, lettuce, tomato, carrot, beetroot, and extra sweet chilli sauce. |
