I love strawberries and this is the ultimate. It can be used as a soup to start a summer meal, or as a very thick smoothie to be drank anytime. It is a very eye appealing dish, especially when topped with fresh strawberry slices and a swirl of whipped cream. Cook time is actually chill time. Ingredients:
2 cups frozen strawberries |
2 cups milk |
1 cup heavy cream |
1/2 cup sour cream |
2 tablespoons white sugar, to taste |
Directions:
1. Puree strawberries, milk, cream and sour cream in a blender of food processor until smooth. 2. Stir in sugar to taste. 3. Chill 8 hours or overnight in refrigerator before serving. |
