Scoops of melon tossed in an orange dressing. Ingredients:
watermelon 1/4 |
muskmelon 1 medium |
for the dressing |
lemon juice 1 1/2 teaspoons |
orange juice 2 tablespoons |
black peppercorns, crushed 3-4 |
fresh mint leaves, torn 1 tablespoon |
salt to taste |
black salt (kala namak) to taste |
Directions:
1. Using a Parisienne scoop remove small roundels from the watermelon. Discard all seeds.Halve muskmelon. Using the Parisienne scoop remove small roundels. Discard all seeds. Set aside melon shells. Keep melon balls in the refrigerator to chill thoroughly. Mix all ingredients of the dressing. Pour over the melon balls and toss once or twice. Spoon into the prepared melon shells and serve immediately. |
