An easy, flavorful side dish or appetizer. You just need to plan ahead enough to let the flavors have enough time to fully mesh. Ingredients:
2 (15 ounce) cans black-eyed peas, drained |
1/3 cup vegetable oil |
1/3 cup red or white wine vinegar |
1/4 cup finely chopped onion |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp cracked pepper |
1 clove garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. 2. Cover and chill 24hrs to blend flavors 3. Serve with a slotted spoon. |
