1 onion, sliced into rings |
1 green pepper, seeded and cut into strips |
1 red pepper, seeded and cut into strips |
1 pinch saffron |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 pinch cayenne |
2 cups smoked ham, diced (serrano) |
1 tablespoon tomato paste |
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce |
Directions:
1. Saute the garlic in the olive oil for 10 minutes. 2. Add the onion and peppers; saute until tender. 3. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. 4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. |
