From my Rival cookbook. I would serve this over rice and pass the cornbread. Ingredients:
2 lbs pork, cut in 1-inch cubes |
1 lb beef, cut in 1-inch cubes |
1 green bell pepper, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes |
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, drained and chopped |
1/3 cup fresh parsley, chopped |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 tablespoon ground cumin |
2 whole cloves |
1/2 cup beef broth |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in crock pot; stir to combine. 2. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. 3. Taste for seasoning before serving. |
