This is an easy recipe for chili sauce using fresh ingredients. Ingredients:
1 cup apple cider vinegar |
1 vidalia onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 green bell pepper, chopped |
1 cup celery, chopped |
2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes |
1 cup honey |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon allspice |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon clove, ground |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, ground |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to heavy pot. 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Reduce to a simmer and let cook for 1 hour. 4. Add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. 5. Return to pot and simmer for 30 minutes more. 6. Enjoy. |
