Very quick and easy!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt
3 cups water
1 can (16 oz) tomatoes, cut up
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 bay leaf
Directions:
1. Brown beef in large saucepan; drain off excess fat. Add celery, onion, green pepper, garlic and salt; cook till vegetables are crisp-tender.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is done, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf.
