I like to serve this tangy, creamy, chicken with a big salad and tortillas. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon flour |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
2 teaspoons vegetable oil |
1 (10 ounce) can chicken gravy |
1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese |
Directions:
1. Mix flour and chili powder. 2. Coat chicken. 3. Fry chicken in butter, turning often, until browned and done. 4. Remove from pan. 5. Stir in the gravy; heat to boiling. 6. Return the chicken. 7. Reduce heat to low. 8. Simmer for 5 minutes. 9. Sprinkle with cheese. |
