When done, this recipe can be served with crackers and cheese slices or even cornbread. Ingredients:
12 ounces spaghetti |
1 pound lean ground beef |
1 onion, chopped |
salt and pepper to taste |
chili powder to taste |
1 (15.25 ounce) can kidney beans, drained |
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. 2. Meanwhile, brown the meat with the onion ina skillet; drain off liquids. Stir in salt, pepper, and chili powder to taste. Stir in kidney beans, and saute 5 to 10 minutes. 3. Serve meat and bean mixture over pasta. |
