I love chili..I try a new recipe every month! Ingredients:
3 lbs lean ground beef |
1 large onion |
4 garlic cloves, chopped fine |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
8 ounces green chilies |
3 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (15 ounce) can rotel |
1 (15 ounce) can diced fire-roasted tomatoes |
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth |
3 tablespoons chili powder |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 tablespoons cumin |
3 teaspoons oregano |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne |
Directions:
1. Saute ground beef, onion and garlic in the olive oil until cooked. 2. Add all remaining ingredients to big pot and add beef and onions. Simmer 2-3 hours. 3. Freezes well. |
