This is SO easy, even though it sounds fancy. Delicious, too! I used indian chili powder rather than the american kind....still not overpoweringly spicy. There was just enough bite to complement the lime juice. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons lime juice |
2 teaspoons olive oil |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 lb halibut steaks |
8 ounces capellini, uncooked |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 teaspoon lime zest |
1/8 teaspoon fresh pepper |
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped |
Directions:
1. To prepare halibut:. 2. Combine lime juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, and salt. Mix well. 3. Spray broiler pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place fish on pan and brush with lime juice mixture. 4. Broil 6 minutes. 5. Turn fish, brush with lime juice mixture and broil until cooked through. 6. For capellini:. 7. Cook pasta according to directions on package. 8. In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. 9. Add pasta to bowl and toss. |
