Chili Joe's for Kids

Our Dad's chili is great! Good for kids who don't like spicy foods. They will love this flavorful dish. And, it's easy! In fact, I teach my kids' friends how to make it.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 (12 ounce) bottle tomato-based chili sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
Directions:
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook onion and bell pepper in olive oil until soft. Stir in beef and cook until brown. Sprinkle chili powder over mixture and pour in chili sauce. Fill empty bottle with water and shake to remove remaining sauce. Pour remaining sauce and water into pan. Stir in beans and simmer 15 minutes before serving.
