This is a different take on the classic chili dog using a tortilla instead of a bun. Ingredients:
10 (6-in.) flour tortillas |
10 hot dogs |
1 (15-oz.) can chili with beans or without, your choice |
1 1/2 cups shredded american cheese |
Directions:
1. Place each tortilla on sheet of heavy-duty foil. 2. Place hot dog in center of each tortilla. 3. Top each with 2 Tbsp. chili and 2 Tbsp. cheese. 4. Roll to enclose filling; secure with wooden picks. 5. Wrap tightly in foil. 6. Place on grill 4-6 inches from hot coals. 7. Grill for 10-15 minutes or until heated through. 8. TIP: Run 2 skewers through several hot dogs ladder-fashion. 9. You will be able to turn them all at once, and the hot dogs will stay on the grill. |
