2 1/2 lbs ground beef |
3 medium chopped onions |
1 medium chopped green pepper |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 (28 ounce) bottle ketchup |
1/4 cup chili powder |
hot dog, heated |
hot dog bun, split |
shreddred cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. in a large saucepan, cook beef, onions, green pepper and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. 2. drain. 3. stir in ketchup and chili powder. 4. simmer, uncovered, for 2 1/2 hours or until thick and bubbly, stirring occasionally. 5. serve over hot dogs in buns. 6. sprinkle with cheese. |
