A spicy Mexican-inspired dip, this chili con queso dip is a zesty combination of easy-to-find ingredients. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
4 onions, chopped |
1 red bell pepper, chopped |
2 green bell peppers, chopped |
salt and pepper to taste |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened |
1/2 teaspoon chili sauce |
1 (14.5 ounce) package corn tortilla chips |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, melt butter and saute onions and bell peppers. Saute until the onions are transparent. Add salt and pepper. Gently mix in cream cheese and chili sauce. Cook on a low heat for 15 minutes. Serve warm with chips for dipping. |
