This is a quick, easy and budget friendly chili recipe that even a novice cook can whip up without breaking a sweat. Your family AND your wallet will thank you Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup onion, diced |
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes, italian |
15 1/2 ounces kidney beans |
1/2 cup corn |
1 5/8 ounces burrito seasoning mix, packet |
cumin, ground |
paprika |
cayenne powder |
1 bouillon cube |
1/4 cup cheese, shredded |
water |
olive oil |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan brown ground beef and diced onions in some olive oil and ad burrito seasoning. 2. Mix well and ad tomatoes, kidney beans and corn. 3. Season with cumin, paprika and cayenne to taste and ad the bullion cube to the stew. 4. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes and add water if chili becomes too thick. 5. Stir in shredded cheese, serve with a dollop of sour creme. |
