I got this recipe from watching the Phil Donahue show, the guest who prepared this for the audience presented it as a Wendy's chili copy cat. This tastes like it's been simmering for a long time but only takes about 20 minutes to prepare. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
1 -2 tablespoon chili powder |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can french onion soup |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, undrained |
Directions:
1. 1. Brown ground beef in skillet and drain fat. 2. 2. Add chili powder and cook for a few minutes. 3. 2. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. |
