My favorite chili recipe. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon beef bouillon |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper in large skillet or saucepan; drain. 2. To beef mixture add tomatoes, tomato sauce, pinto beans and seasonings. 3. Simmer, covered, 1 hour. 4. Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions. |
