This is a recipe from Simple and Delicious Magazine, submitted by Peter Halferty. Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups water |
1 cup milk |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 tablespoon butter or 1/2 cup margarine |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
3 cups instant potato flakes |
2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies |
1 cup shredded mexican blend cheese or 1 cup cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. In large saucepan, bring the water, milk and salt to a boil. 2. Add the butter, garlic, potato flakes and chilies. 3. Stir until thickened. 4. Sprinkle with cheese. |
