I love to make chili cheese fries with the last bit of chili that I have in the crock pot after I've made chili. But the no beans Hormel chili works well with this too Ingredients:
either home made chili, or you can use a small can of hormel no beans chili. |
southwestern fries |
sour cream |
chopped onion (optional) |
cheese- mozzarella, cheddar, and italian blend are my favorites, or you can use all three |
Directions:
1. Deep fry the fries until nice and extra crispy 2. Heat up your chili if your using the stuff in the can according to the directions on the can. 3. Place crisp fries in large bowl. 4. Sprinkle on a good handful of cheese. 5. Pour chili on. 6. Sprinkle with more cheese 7. Dollop of sour cream. 8. Diced onions. 9. More cheese!!! 10. If you have one of those totally rad convention microwaves, you can throw the bowl in and crisp the cheese on the top too. 11. Grab a fork and someone to share these with, and dig in! |
