Great served with chili Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups flour |
3 tsp. baking powder |
3 tsp. dried parsley flakes |
1 tsp. chili powder |
1/4 tsp. kosher salt |
1 stick butter, cold and cut into small chunks |
1/2 cup milk |
1 egg, beaten |
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 2. In mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients 3. Cut in butter until mixture looks like coarse crumbs 4. Stir in milk and egg until just moistened 5. Add cheese and mix well 6. On lightly floured surface, roll to 1/2 inch thickness 7. Cut with 2 1/2 inch cutter into 15 biscuits 8. Bake 1 inch apart for 8-10 minutes |
