Not your ordinary burger. Spiced up with chili sauce and sausage. Makes the everyday hamburger a bit thicker and adds that extra, well needed flavor without a lot of time around the grill.. Ingredients:
1/2 pound italian sausage |
1 1/2 pounds ground beef |
1/3 cup chili sauce, tomato-based |
salt and pepper (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Preheat your grill at high heat. When hot, lightly oil the grate. 2. Combine the Italian sausage, beef, chili sauces, salt and pepper in a medium sized bowl. Shape into 8 balls of meat, then flatten into patties. 3. Grill for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Serve on buns with the preferred toppings. 4. NOTE: You may use more chili sauce, as desired, in patties; I usually almost double the amount, which creates a extremely moist burger, but keep in mind it also falls apart easily. |
