My mom made this at school years ago when she worked as a cook. It was a favorite dish nearly every high school student liked. Ingredients:
50 lbs hamburger |
2 cups onions |
1 gallon catsup |
1 gallon tomato puree |
3 cups chili powder |
1 teaspoon cayenne powder |
4 tablespoons paprika |
1 teaspoon garlic |
2 cups brown sugar |
1 cup salt |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger, drain. 2. Add other ingredients and simmer until seasonings are blended. 3. Serve on hamburger bun. Dill Pickles are good with it. |
