Chili Beef Noodle Skillet |

From a TOH mag. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles |
2 lbs ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/4 cup chopped celery |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/2-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook noodles according to package directions. 2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef, onion, celery and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain. Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt and pepper; mix well. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. 3. Drain noodles; stir into beef mixture and heat through. Remove from the heat. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
