Chili Barbecued Pork Chops |

This is a great way to serve your chops! PGG Ingredients:
1/2c chopped onion |
1 clove garlic, minced |
2t cooking oil |
1/2c bottled chili sauce |
1/4tsp finely shredded orange peel |
1/4c orange juice |
1t brown sugar |
1/2tsp salt |
dash bottled hot pepper sauce |
6 pork loin butterfly chops |
Directions:
1. Cook onions and garlic in hot oil until tender but not brown. 2. Stir in chili sauce, orange peel, orange juice, brown sugar, salt, and pepper sauce; mix well. 3. Bring to boiling; remove from heat. 4. Preheat both sides of grill on HIGH for 10 minutes. 5. Turn both sides of grill to medium. 6. Grill chops with hood closed for 15 minutes. 7. Turn meat; brush with some chili sauce mixture. 8. Grill 15 to 20 minutes longer or till done, brushing with remaining chili sauce mixture. 9. Makes 6 servings. |
