This is another one of the quick fizes that the boys really enjoy. We amke it more grown up for us serving it up with some butterbeans and greens. Ingredients:
1 pkg marth white cornbread mix (small boy like jiffy) |
1 1/2-cups freshly shredded mild cheddar |
1-can hormel chili (hot) |
Directions:
1. Mix cornbread according to direction on package. 2. Pour into buttered and floured small, square, round or oblong casserole dish. 3. Spoon chili over. 4. Do not stir! 5. Sprinkle cheese over and bake at temperature show on cornbread mix box for about 20 minutes or until cornbread is done. 6. -Susana |
