Chili and a Bottle of Beer |

We love this chili. I usually add a little more beer, about a 6 pack (on the side of course). You can add on top jalapeƱos, cheese, sour creme, avocado, or more beer. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil |
1 lb ground pork |
2 lbs ground beef |
3 cups onions |
2 green peppers |
3 garlic cloves |
3 jalapenos |
2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
1 (12 ounce) bottle beer (your favorite brand) |
3 tablespoons chili powder |
3 tablespoons cumin |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2-1 teaspoon cayenne |
2 (16 ounce) cans black beans (drained and rinsed) |
3 cups frozen corn |
Directions:
1. Cook pork and beef, 1 T oil cook vegetables. 2. Cook about 5 minutes. 3. Add to vegetables: meats, tomatoes, beer, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. 4. Cover and cook 1 hour. 5. Stir in corn and beans. 6. Cook 15 minutes longer. |
