A great snack for nibbling on when your sipping a cocktail. Ingredients:
1 stick butter |
1 large clove garlic, slightly crushed |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 lb shelled whole, but unblanched almonds |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. In a large pan, heat butter, and saute the garlic clove until limp. 2. Disgard clove, remember do not burn it. 3. Mix in Chili powder until thoroughly blended 4. Add the almonds 5. Stir constantly over medium heat until well coated, and slightly browned 6. Sprinkle with salt, and let cool. 7. Serve when cool |
