Ingredients:
1/2 bay leaf |
2 can(s) black beans (rinsed and drained) |
2 tablespoon(s) butter |
2 teaspoon(s) chili powder |
1/2 cup(s) chopped onion |
1/2 cup(s) diced green pepper |
1 pound(s) ground beef or turkey |
2 can(s) kidney beans (rinsed and drained) |
1/2 clove(s) minced garlic |
1/4 cup(s) red wine |
1 can(s) rotel tomatoes |
shredded cheddar cheese |
15 ounce(s) tomato sauce |
Directions:
1. Saute onion, butter, green pepper and garlic. 2. Add beef, stir until meat is well done. Add tomato sauce, beans, bay leaf, sugar, wine and chili powder. 3. Cover and simmer 1-2 hours or longer. Garnish with cheddar cheese and chili powder. |
