This dish is great for a busy week night meal. We love it on a cold winter evening!!!!
Ingredients:
1lb lean ground beef
1 small -med chopped onion
1pkg. mc cormick chili mix
1 quart jar of tomatoes or 1 large can tomatoes
1can of bush's chili beans mild or hot
1can of kidney beans light or dark red
1 tbls hot pepper flakes
1 tbls spoon of hot sauce (omit if this is too hot for your taste)
Directions:
1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a large nonstick pot
2. Add chili mix and small amt. of water 1/4 cup, pepper flakes & hot sauce
3. Then add tomatoes and beans.
4. Simmer about 20 minutues.
5. Then enjoy with plenty of crackers and don't forget to top with some grated cheese.
