                    The right touch of heat. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 1/2 lb hamburger, browned with the following and drain  |  
                                                1 onion  |  
                                                2 cloves garlic  |  
                                                1 t oil  |  
                                                add  |  
                                                2 cans kidney beans  |  
                                                2 jars salsa, pace picante sauce - mild or hot (your choice)  |  
                                                1/2 - 1 t oregano  |  
                                                1/2 - 1 t cumin  |  
                                                1 - 2 t chili powder  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Brown the ground beef mixture in a skillet. 2. In a large pot, add the ground beef mixture to the remaining ingredients. 3. Use the lesser amount of spices, bring to a boil and simmer one hour for a milder chili. 4. or... 5. Add the larger amount of spices for a spicer chili and simmer one hour.. 6. Note: Use the lesser amount of spice, simmer 30 minutes and taste before adding the larger amount.
