This is a great cold day meal served with some sweet corn bread and sweet tea! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion (chopped) |
2 cloves garlic (minced) |
salt and pepper |
1 can tomato sauce |
4 tablespoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
32 ounces water |
2 cans red beans (drained) |
1 can stewed tomatoes (sliced) |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, onion, garlic, and salt and pepper. 2. Add remaining ingredients. 3. Bring to a hard boil. 4. Reduce to a simmer for 45 minutes. |
