Started with a recipe for Chile's Presidente Margarita and tweaked to taste.
Ingredients:
3 ounces sauza commemorativo tequila (or your favorite gold tequilla )
1 ounce cointreau liqueur (triple sec works too)
1 ounce rose's sweetened lime juice
1 ounce presidente brandy
2 ounces liquid prepared sweet-and-sour mix
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce lime juice
1 ounce organic agave nectar
1/2 teaspoon dried crushed mint leaf (can be found on most spice aisles)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a metal shaker/sifter. Add 5 ice cubes and shake until shaker is cold to touch. Sift into a salted rim glass of ice over a cheesecloth or a small screen, I use a reusable coffee filter, to catch the mint leaves and enjoy! For frozen simply add to blender with 1 1/2 cups of crushed ice and blend.
