CHILEAN SALSA This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Miller Estate in Wills Point, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1 large tomato peeled and chopped |
3 garlic cloves peeled and chopped |
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro chopped |
1 small fresh jalapeno seeded and chopped |
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 small lemon juiced |
Directions:
1. Chop tomato into squares. 2. Chop garlic, cilantro and jalapeno in a food processor. 3. Season with olive oil, black pepper, salt and lemon juice. 4. Serve at room temperature. |
