Another way to use those beans. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
5 cups cooked pinto beans |
3 tablespoons red chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 dash salt |
1/4 teaspoon cumin (comino) |
Directions:
1. Brown the meat. 2. Add the onions, beans, and seasonings. 3. Simmer 30 minutes. 4. If chili is thin, add a tablespoon cornmeal. 5. Serve with tortillas or rice, or on hot dogs. |
