Delicious. Ingredients:
1 (7 ounce) can whole chilies, split |
8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated |
6 eggs, slightly beaten (you can use egg substitute) |
3/4 cup 2% or homogenized milk |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a greased 7 x 11 inch baking dish, layer split chilies and 1/2 of the cheese. 3. Combine eggs, milk, flour, baking powder. 4. Mix well. 5. Pour over chiles. 6. Top with remaining cheese. 7. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until puffed and browned. |
