Although called a rub, this is actually a paste that can be used to spread over the meat. Yogurt can be mixed in and used for a great sauce.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup salad oil
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup lightly packed fresh cilantro
6 -8 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped
1 -2 fresh jalapeno chilie, seeded, stemmed
Directions:
1. In a blender, combined ingredients and pulse until smoothly pureed.
