Looking for an easy-to-prepare appetizer for a party? These look so beautiful, guests will think you slaved all day in the kitchen. And, since they require no cooking, your stove and oven will be freed up for the other dishes you will be serving.
Ingredients:
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 ounces diced green chilies
3 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup ripe olives, chopped
4 (8 inch) soft taco-size flour tortillas
salsa, thick & chunky for accompaniment
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chilies, green onions, bell pepper and olives in medium bowl.
2. Spread 1/2 cup cheese mixture over each tortilla; roll up. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Remove plastic wrap; slice each roll into six 3/4-inch pieces. Serve with salsa for dipping.
