This is my newest way to spice up baked chicken breasts and satisfy that craving for something HOT and SPICY. SUPER MOIST. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts |
herdez's chile de arbol salsa (found in grocer's mexican section) |
slices of pepper jack cheese |
that's it |
Directions:
1. Place chicken breasts in single layer of dish (or you can use a Ziploc bag) 2. Pour enough salsa over them to coat good. 3. I let marinate in salsa for a couple hours, but you probably don't have to. 4. Bake in 350 oven for approximately 30 minutes (careful not to over cook) 5. I baked in same dish I marinated them in; if you use bag, transfer all of it to baking dish 6. Place cheese slice on each breast last 5 minutes of cooking. |
